Sri Lanka – similar to India but more expensive!
That’s a one sentence summary but I guess things are more complicated than that.

I imagine Caracas is a bit like Lima, Sao Paulo and Bogota, quite unfriendly to the foreign tourist,
but take a trip to the countryside and you acquire a different perspective.
Trekking along the Annapurna Circuit in Nepal followed by Scuba Diving off Ko Lanta in Thailand!
Not sure what to say about these snaps: Strenuous and satisfying trekking followed by floating about watching Leopard sharks resting on the sea bed.

What more needs to be said. It accepts Euros: a certain standard of civilisation. Walking for 4-5 hours a day admiring the achitecture and enjoying a football match.
